Our walking tour with Carol was great! The pace of the tour was great, not too fast or slow, and it was very informative! Our guide also suggested a few restaurants with traditional Luxembourgish dishes, which we tried out and enjoyed!
Hello! We had Carol as our guide. She is friendly & knowledgeable but I think many things didn't go well. I would not recommend the tour based on my below experience:1. Group size was way too big. This is okay for a free walking tour but not at this size (40+).2. You couldn't alway hear carol as she kept explaining things while walking + not waiting till everyone arrive to a stopping point when she started explaining things.3. Carol kept explaining things that are not close by and are far and hard to see. While the intention is good, you very quickly lost track of all the things she is trying to cover. This can be nice for few key highlights but was done so often. A better approach is to possibly change the route to cover some of these important things instead of talking about them from far. (or simply cover what I can actually see!)
Karen is very experienced, entertaining and doesn't take herself too seriously, pleasant tour atmosphere. Tour just right in terms of length and information content. The only irritating thing is the need to book in advance through an agency.
Phillip is very knowledgeable of Luxembourg history and is very enthusiastic explaining every sight seeing place . He goes out of way and adds extra sight seeing points .
Maria was cheerful and nice, but overall a okay experience. She had a mic, but her voice was still not loud enough for people to hear.

Booked a tour and Carol was our tour guide for the morning. She was very knowledgeable and gave a very comprehensive and informative tour of the city. She made the tour very enjoyable, given how enthusiastic she was to share the stories and history of Luxembourg. She managed to capture the attention of all the attendees and gave us recommendations for tourism and food.Highly recommend a tour with them! Do note that they are free lance tour guides, so the tour is not exactly “free” as you need (and you should given the high quality of the tours) to give them commission for their time!

Disappointing and Unprofessional ExperienceI booked a Free Walking Tour of Luxembourg online for a Thursday. When I arrived at the meeting location, the guide informed me that she wouldn’t be doing the tour because there were only two participants—myself and another man. She explained that she relies on tips, which I understood, and I asked if I could join the tour the next day instead. She said she didn’t know how many people would join then, but offered to take us to the tourist office for alternative options.When I asked how many people were needed for a tour, she said her minimum was five but she could do it with four. I declined her offer to go to the tourist office and decided to explore the city on my own. However, as I was walking around, I saw her leading a tour with the other man who had been there earlier. This left me feeling confused and quite upset.The lack of clear communication and professionalism was disappointing. I understand the challenges of working on a tip-based system, but this experience felt unfair and poorly handled. I would not recommend this service based on my experience

It was a very good tour! Carol made it fun to learn about the history of the city. And gave a few recommendations about where to go and eat which was very helpful. Actually had lunch at one of the places!
Jesus our guide was very informative about past and present day Luxembourg and surrounding areas. He could answer any question put to him.The tour itself was 2 hours long and covered a lot, Jesus has a way of keeping you interested with little bits of advice and facts along the way.Would recommend Twenty Tour walking tour. Maria was great and fun. She was so happy to show us her city, gave us a lot of explanation about the city but also the life in there, a lot of tips about what to do, see and eat after the tour. We really enjoyed it, even with the frosty weather.
The walking tour was nice, however the size of the group was huge, and the information shared wasn't really very detailed though interesting. I appreciate the tour was during really cold winter so sometime the things in winter are limited.

Great 2 hour tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Carol was so smart and really knows and loves Luxembourg. She pointed all the touristy spots, scenic spots, hidden ways to get there as well as all the bathroom spots!Highly recommend, full of history and scenery.
Yesterday we did the free walking tour with Carol. The tour was very informative and entertaining. Carol told us the most important things about the history and important points in Luxembourg in two hours. We liked it very much.
The tour guide was very friendly and energetic. She took us to some interesting places.However, there was so much information missed that could have been given during the tour. (regarding architecture, historical data about the country or the city, and other relevant fun facts).

This tour was awesome and I really learned a lot!! she gave us so many recommendations, that I did try and were AWESOME!! this is really worth your time, especially if you are alone!! I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
Jesus had some interesting facts and was warm and friendly. However he spoke extremely fast and we found him very hard to understand, particularly my mum who is slightly hard of hearing. We ended up leaving the tour after the first hour due to this and the very cold weather. I would still recommend this tour (maybe on a warmer day!), however I would suggest that he slows down his speaking a little bit to make it more accessible to all.

I took the tour in Luxembourg City. The guide did not have the red umbrella visible so I at first walked right by the meeting spot. He was a walking encyclopedia, which I found initially very helpful and informative. But he talked so fast that I had trouble both understanding him and absorbing the flood of information. I think he didn't have a sense of filtering or moderating the information. After an hour I had to quit, as I was overwhelmed. These tours should be a general introduction to a city, not a crash course in Luxembourgian government. . Also, this point may seem petty but when he made a comment about how "our stupid government " handled something, that level of commentary turned me off. I hear too much government bashing in the US.
The tour was heavily focused on history and a lot of years and events flying around. Our tour guide was lovely, it was just hard to keep up with all the info. I was even tempted to listen to other guides we passed by 🙂 I did appreciate the stories about people's lives there and different symbols around the city centre which were explained.
The weather was very rainy but the guide Carol did a great job. Carol has a lot to say about that fantastic city. Highly recommended for everyone.

The free walking tour with Carol as a guide was simply fabulous. The meeting point for the tour was clear and the group size was optimal. Her calming yet heartfelt way of speaking and describing the scenery captivated me. It didn't seem like a lecture but more like an invitation into her world. I had no idea about Luxembourg until yesterday, but the selected spots, sights and paths gave me a clearer picture of the capital. And the planned 2 hours were even extended because we dawdled a bit. The walking tour of Luxembourg yesterday was excellent and the guide, Carol was outstanding and really knowledgeable. She did a wondeful job. And we really enjoyed it.
Our guide did very well conducting a tour commencing in a heavy cloudburst. She gave us a good overview of Luxembourg and its people, customs and history. When the rain stopped she showed us various places to access the walls/elevators/paths with recommendations. She was well prepared with a binder of photographs which was useful during the downpour.

At the last minute we decided to take the train to Luxembourg from Brussels and was able to schedule a walking tour. Our guide Maria was great. She shared lots of information about the history and culture in this small country. We saw the changing of the guard at the palace and loved the views looking down into the lower town. You can visit Luxembourg in one day and see all of the major sites. I recommend this walking tour and Maria!

Luxembourg itself is very beautiful and Carol made it much more by making us visiting important monuments and explaining it. I just arrived to Luxembourg and in 30 minutes I was in my first city walking tour ever.Carol was really funny, well prepared and easy to understand. The tour with Jesus is a must do you’d like to get to know Luxembourg well. We really enjoyed his stories which were showing history, society and daily life in Luxembourg. Tour was full of fun facts, important events, presented in an interesting way. Our guide had also a good sense of humour and a good, resonant voice. I often do free walking tours while travelling and it’s one of my favourites.

It was an extremely informative tour, Jesus has a wealth of knowledge. The tour lasted two hours with no break but it just flew by because Jesus was engaging, he had jokes and fun facts. Great tour if you want to see all the important spots in Luxembourg city and get some historical/cultural context behind it all! Maria was a great tour guide - she knew a lot about the city/country and was super engaging. At the end of the tour, she shared a lot of her own recommendations for food/things to do.
Roy was a superb and enthusiastic guide. He knows so much about the history and politics of Luxembourg that the two hours passed by really quick. Amazing experience. Carol was our guide and she has been wonderful. The tour contained everything needed as a first tour asap you get to the city. Lovely tour of the city of Luxembourg. Maria was definitely one of the best tour guides we have had in any city for a walking tour. She was like a friend, passionate and easily approachable. Would highly recommend her for the tour. It takes you around the key highlights of the city and then you can later on choose to visit the Grund by taking the elevator. Got some good recommendations as well for eating and other attractions for visiting.
The walking tour is a good way to go around the old part of Luxembourg-city and you get to see some of the interesting things this beautiful city has to offer. The tour also provides you some interesting facts about the monuments. Our tour guide, Amélie (I hope this is the correct spelling), also brought a lot of life into the storytelling which made the tour even more interesting and enjoyable. She also knew some facts that probably little else people know about the places you pass. She was also happily ready to give you more information if you asked her. To summarize, it is totally worth it and you should definitely check it out.

Walking around Luxembourg and finding out the stories behind the places, buildings and people in Luxembourg was interesting. When you're in a new city, it's worth taking a free tour to get to know it from people who know it best! This way you can find out where to get souvenirs, where to eat, etc.

I am so pleased with the tour we took today that I wanted to write a review right away. Caroline was an amazing guide. Her English was clear and we'll paced which I'm sure helps everyone get the full experience of the tour. She was well versed in the country and city history. She handled question with a breeze and had several funny comments too. I feel like the tour covered everything I wanted. As we went, we made a mental checklist of places we plan to come back to. This was a perfect introduction to the city. The start time of 11am was also perfect for us to come in from a hotel 30 min away without having to rush. Easy 5 stars. Can't imagine someone having a bad experience with this tour. Huge thank you!

We had a lovely tour with Santa. She knew her history and was very knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed the food recommendations that she shared with us through a PDF. I would wholeheartedly recommend TwentyTour, and especially Santa.One suggestion - Santa was extremely polite and didn't ever ask for any payment. While we did pay, some people may possibly not pay (or pay very little - which we saw) because the tour guide never brought up the subject. Maybe you could brief the tour guides to spend a few minutes telling the group about your payment model so that all customers pay the tour guides a reasonable amount for their efforts.
I joined this walking tour on May 3rd and Santa was the tour guide. This tour is something everyone must do when visiting Luxembourg. You will be able to visit important sites within the two (2) hours because of Santa’s knowledge and experience. I was able to appreciate Luxembourg because of the information shared by Santa. Pretty nice tour with a lot of good spots to see. We took part on a very busy day so that the group was a little too large in my eyes. Sometimes hard to understand what the guide was saying. But overall we had a good tour with some nice infos and tips on where to eat and drink also.
The free tour with Roy was awesome! He is a very nice and pleasant guy who explained so well the history behind the beautiful city and country of Luxembourg. He even did this tour in Spanish (his first one) and it was incredibly good, really. 1000% recommended!

Amazing tour of the city! Our guide went above an beyond and even gave each of use a postcard with a photo of the city she drew. On the post card was a QR code that directed you to a PDF of all of her recommendations for restaurants & things to do. HIGHLY recommend!
This is a great walking tour! Roy was knowledgeable and friendly, and gave a perfect balance of history and cultural context throughout the tour. He also speaks several languages, so that was helpful and really interesting. Because the tour is a full two hours it got cold by the end, so bring a coat if you’re joining in the colder months!
