2. Rives de Clausen:

   • This district of bars and restaurants is situated along the Alzette River on the site of the former Luxembourg beer brewery “Mousel.” The area appeals to a wide variety of tastes and attracts a cosmopolitan public, typical of Luxembourg. Rives de Clausen is also part of a larger plan to enhance the suburbs of the former fortress.

3. Rham Plateau:

   • Overlooking three sides of the Alzette valley, the Rham Plateau offers stunning views of old Luxembourg City. Integral to the fortifications since the 15th century, it was later expanded by Vauban with four imposing military barracks, now modern and comfortable housing for seniors. You can make a brief stop here while waiting for the next train.

To reach the starting point, take the tram or bus to the “Hamilius” stop, then walk approximately 12 minutes along Avenue Monterey and Place d’Armes to Montée de Clausen.
